{"id":7,"date":"2016-12-01T03:33:00","date_gmt":"2016-12-01T01:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.iqoi.io\/?p=7"},"modified":"2024-06-20T22:50:15","modified_gmt":"2024-06-20T20:50:15","slug":"daniel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.iqoi.io\/?p=7","title":{"rendered":"Kreuzberg Apartment alt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/daniel\/iqoi_daniel_render2.jpg\" alt=\"Render\"><br \/>\nThe design is a radical refurbishment of an apartment to a typical Berlin pre-WWII tenement affecting individuality, comfort and sustainability.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clearer48px\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/daniel\/iqoi_daniel_rm_1462.jpg\" alt=\"RM\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/daniel\/iqoi_daniel_ab_05.jpg\" alt=\"Living Room\"><br \/>\nThe traditional layout of the apartment \u2013 small rooms and a corridor \u2013 was converted into a floating loft space with a new interpretation of the \u2018Berliner Zimmer\u2019 (a big dark room with a single window in the corner, resulting in the corner\/nook situation of the typical Berliner Block).<\/p>\n<div class=\"clearer48px\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/daniel\/iqoi_daniel_rm_1294.jpg\" alt=\"RM\"><\/p>\n<p>After the wall renovations a huge amount of 100 years old brick was left over. This brick was recycled into built-in furniture cubes that create space for a bathroom, walk-in closet and a storeroom. These cubes are lower than the overall ceiling height which allows natural light inside.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clearer48px\"><\/div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/daniel\/iqoi_daniel_kitchen1.jpg\" alt=\"RM\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/daniel\/iqoi_daniel_kitchen2.jpg\" alt=\"RM\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/daniel\/iqoi_daniel_rm_1489.jpg\" alt=\"RM\"><\/p>\n<p>The toilet space has a window toward facing outside and a noise isolating window on top of the cube.
